We proudly offer a remodeled funeral home in Bolivia that features new carpet, interior furnishings, new chapel seating to accommodate 120 people along with additional overflow areas if needed.

In addition to the remodeled chapel, we have a dedicated special events and banquet room capable of accommodating your family, friends and guests to a reception with catering and refreshments without having the expense and inconvenience of additional venues. These amenities paired with ample on-site parking allows us to better serve families.

White Funeral and Cremation Service proudly supports those who have served our country. Veterans are an honored and important part of our society, and when you choose White Funeral and Cremation Service to provide military funerals to these individuals, we make certain that all Veterans Affairs (VA) and military honors are discussed and arranged when requested. We are ready to assist with arrangements in our local Veteran cemeteries as well.

We are located adjacent to Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, SECU Lower Cape Fear Hospice's Brunswick Care Center, Universal Healthcare Nursing Center and minutes from major medical facilities in Brunswick, New Hanover, Horry and Columbus counties. To better serve families, we are centrally located and offer convenient access to both Oleander Memorial Gardens, Greenlawn Memorial Park and other cemeteries in Brunswick County.

History

Our Bolivia funeral home's chapel began as a mandate from the people of Brunswick County to Mr. and Mrs. Lad Coble, owners of Coble Funeral Home in Wilmington, North Carolina, to have a chapel closer to this growing rural area. During the process of construction, Mr. Coble sold his funeral homes and cemetery, Oleander Memorial Gardens. Upon completion, the chapel was an immediate success, meeting a growing demand for burial and cremation services in the central part of Brunswick County.

Changing with the times

We have been a member of Brunswick County for over 70 years. We were formerly known as Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service until the summer 2015, when the affiliation with Greg and Delores White, the owners of Peacock-Newnam and White Funeral Service of Southport and White Funeral and Cremation Service of Shallotte merged. At this time, our name changed to White Funeral and Cremation Service to better serve our growing area. Greg White still enjoys an active role in the daily operations and services that we provide to you, our friends and neighbors.
